Writing From Your Eyes

This is my answer to you…
When I looked into your eyes
I saw the disappearing future
That I once saw

Forgive me for saying this

After half a decade
This is my answer to you
It is an interlude for you and me
When my world was wrapped around you
I forgot those who were with me
Even after that
I never dared to look back
For fear these eyes would rain

But when my fear was over
I turned around
It took me sometime but it wasn’t for nothing
I saw the people who I forgot
Standing proudly waiting for me
Waiting for me to take their hands
Waiting for me place my arms on their shoulder

Without fear they stood there
Offering me the support that I thought I never had
Today I stand tall
Burning my way through the path
Where you set yourself as obstacle
I no longer am blocked

A renewed inspiration

Its been a long time since I have a want to write a story, but recently I have the urge to write something...

I wonder what should I do, I too have an urge to do some illustrations with only the titles in hand...

and as for the story, I'm not sure how I should start... I'm mixing in a lot of elements. I hope it comes out nice~

Vietnam Summary~!!!

Vietnam Trip Day 1


There was nothing much happened on the first day. 


We had a... unusual meal on the airplane. I ate curry chicken with roti canai that was the size of a chicken slice in a burger. But it was really thick and there was two inside. There was cadbury golden chocolate and a slice of cake in the set. I had guava juice for drink. 


Except for the fact that we went to Cu Chi Tunnel and had a very valuable memory and knowledge. We saw how the vietnamese lived during war. The side effects from the chemical of Agent Orange.


I had a nice time at the Cu Chi Tunnel's souvenir area, they had a Gun Shooting range~! AK-47 <3 Wao~!!! Okay, then after the shooting we left~


Our surprise when we arrived at the hotel was also amazing. Our luggage that the driver had pulled out from the compartment under the bus was crawling with ants. It was so terrible! 


Come to think of it, Vietnam's sense of driving is totally different from us. From the moment we got into the bus. The whole journey we could hear honks here and there. Well it seemed really common to honk, speed quickly in a busy road, cutting queue here and there on a busy road, moving so close to each other's vehicle as if they were walking next to each other and surprisingly not bump into each other or scratch their vehicle.


Our tour guide even explained that there are hit and runs almost every day. We were asked to be very careful at all times for the fear of robbery and etc.


We entered the hotel. Lavender hotel, the lobby was filled with the smell of lavender and was decorated with victorian style furnitures and lavender flowers.


We were also given welcome drinks, I thought it was ice lemon tea but it turned out to be chinese tea. But oh well~ Better than nothing. The air-cond was really cold so it was heavenly! Well... For us who was almost half-cooked due to the heat outside. But still, surprisingly by 6.30 pm the sun is totally down and it was as dark as 8 pm. 


We went for the night market but most of us couldn't find stuff that we were really eager to buy. It was really humid & hot so mom and I had take aways and went back to the hotel. Bathed and of course ate while watching TV on the hotel bed. 


After that I went to sleep. Awaiting the next day to come... It was a really fun and great day... But uh... @__@" the heat is killing me... 


Day 2


Mom and I woke up in the morning and we were the 3rd group among my relatives to be there. Granny and Ah Boy was the first. Then Aunt May and Uncle Albert followed by Mom and I. Then Aunt May Leng and her children, Aunt May Foong with Ka-Yeng, Aunt May Wan and Elaine and finally Uncle Anthony and auntie.


I had  westernized breakfast at first and then porridge with steamed fish in soy sauce, ommelete and plenty of tea with plenty of milk and little sugar~!


On our second day we spent our time at  Mekong Delta, at the remote village area that shows us their culture and etc. We saw how they the coconut candies were made and we were given fresh hot coconut candies to try. It was soft and warm and tasty too.


All of us bought the candies there, I think many of us bought at least 5 packet so they'll give us one free. It was really hot and stuffy and everyone was getting irritated due to the heat.


So we quickly bought our stuff and left. They specialize in coconut candies and rice paper production. After that we rode a HORSY TRISHAW! It galloped away and it was well kinda scary. It galloped so fast and I was at the end of the ride.
=.=" omg...


So after we stopped we went into one part of the village. We were served fruits and honey for drinks. And we were surrounded by honeybees cause their honeybee boxes was just a few feet away. And there was a squirrel, we tried to fed it some fruits it didn't seem all interested so we ignored it. Then there was these phytons. The tour guide himself was afraid of it. And he expected Ka-Mun to pick it up. 


So it ended up a lady picked up the phyton and put it around my neck to take photo lol. It curved round my wrist a little. We snapped photos and left the place after listening to their traditional music. And latter on we had to take those mini rowing boats to go back to the big boat. 


Oh~ I forgot to mention , we were served free coconuts on the boat. Yummy~! So after that I rode on that shaky small boat to back to the larger ferry. And we then moved to the restaurant on the island and had rice paper wrapped food and a lot more~!


We were also given opportunity to experiment with the food we had. We had elephant ear fish meat wrapped into the rice paper with some transparent noodles and vegetables. After that... well we wrapped whatever came onto the table with the rice paper. lol. X3 it was yummy~!!


After our meal we went back to the hotel to enjoy our free time~!


The last half part of the day was like the blind leading the blind, searching for HIGHLANDS CAFE. It was tiring but in the end we managed to find Highlands cafe. I had a delicious bowl of chicken noodles. A glass of hazelnut coffee freeze and a chocolate cheese cake. Filled my tummy and then we walked back to the hotel. I refused to go out for the later part of the day and stayed in the hotel. 


It was too much for me to bear.... The heat and all the walking, not used to it. @__@ So I stayed at the hotel. Mom bought dinner back to me. So I just had it at the hotel, I surfed facebook and check my mails and etc. When mom came back I ate and then later finish up my script and went to bed.


Day 3
Yes!!! Its totally one hundred percent free day!!! I had breakfast as usual! Plenty of tea with milk, omellete, porridge, and etc etc~


We went to Ben Than Market. Its a cleverly constructed area I should say. There is a square in the middle where you can bargain for the stuff you want to buy and then there's the 2nd outer area all around the middle square and this area is the FIXED price area. Which it was smart of aunt May to go through the side area first before going to the bargaining area square. Cause the price is like this :-


Fixed Price Area for A Plate : 20, 000 dong
Bargain Price Area : 85, 000 dong


And then there's the wet market on the other side. 


I bought a lot of stuff seriously... A whole set of vietnamese traditional music instrument, 20 keychains, 2 bookmarks and 2 cute white owls.


We then visited the museum of art war remnants. Not to spoil anyone's trip to the museum... I can say its a really... amazing place.


Then we went for dinner and went back to the hotel. I posted my completed script on facebook for my collegemates.


Day 4
My 4th day is the most nothing to do day~! We had breakfast and they went to Ben Than market again~! To get any remaining stuff we wanted to buy. I on the other hand went to a nearby shop that sells Nail Art stuff. I bought the famous stamping nail art, that costs a bomb in malaysia~ It cost me 140,000 dong a set, 30,000 dong for the extra stamp, 8,000 dong for a nail art remover, a nail shinning treatment for 20,000 dong, a nail art glue for 28,000 dong, a 40,000 dong for nail art pen & brush... That's about it I think~ O___O" a lot of stuff in deed!!!


So that ends my day... After that we just waited at the hotel doing nothing until the bus came and took us to the airport and byebye VIETNAM! :x


Anyone interested in going to Vietnam, would be advised to change their USD to Dong at a Foreign Exchange Currency that is operated by a jewelry store near Lavender Hotel.


They exchange 1 USD for 20,800 dong


Different shops or stalls have different exhange rate and most of them are very low like 20,000 and they never reach 20,700. So its better you exchange in large amount, at least 50 USD which would equal to about 1 million dong.


A bottle of coke is 10,000 dong. You can imagine it. :) 1 mil isn't all that much.
